Current antennas for my shack

as of Dec 29, 2003

The photo on the left is the top half of the complete picture. It shows the 3 element portable 6 meter yagi at the top, then the 2 meter M2 circularly polarized celestial yagi (now used for terrestrial qso's!), followed by the 70cm M2 circ. pol. yagi (also now used for terrestrial qso's). The 6m yagi is about 30' AGL.

The right most photo shows the base of the antenna, which is a Yaesu rotor on a Glenn-Martin roof mount. It's sitting on the floor of my rear deck about 5' AGL.

I live near the crest of a 800' hill which has great vistas to the east, south and west (the north is obscured by the peak of the hill). So, needless to say, these antennas get out just fine for their AGL.

Overall average above sea level for the 6m yagi is about 680'.
